Performance Information

Since 1983 Larry and his wife, Kathy Riegelman, have been performing together around the Kansas City area in the flute and guitar duo "Evensong", a group whose roots are in classical music, but whose repertoire has gone beyond the classical tradition to include jazz, pop, folk and show tunes. Trained as a composer, Larry arranges and composes much of the duo's music, giving them an original sound; one that is uniquely their own.

In much the same way, Larry Beekman's solo performances always include an eclectic blend of many styles of music.

Here are some samples of music by Evensong and Larry Beekman:

Audio Samples

Invention #13 by J.S. Bach, arranged by Larry Beekman. These two voice pieces work very well as flute and guitar duets.

El Vals, arranged by Larry Beekman. This delightful little waltz is by the Chilean group, Inti-Illimani. It is arranged here for flute and guitar.

I Will by Lennon & McCartney, arranged by Larry Beekman. This guitar solo is from Larry's book, Beatles For Classical Guitar.
