Since 1983 Larry and his wife, Kathy Riegelman, have been performing together around the Kansas City area in the flute and guitar duo “Evensong”, a group whose roots are in classical music, but whose repertoire has gone beyond the classical tradition to include jazz, pop, folk and show tunes. Trained as a composer, Larry arranges and composes much of the duo’s music, giving them an original sound; one that is uniquely their own.
In much the same way, Larry Beekman’s solo performances always include an eclectic blend of many styles of music.
Larry has an extensive YouTube channel where he posts videos playing his arrangements to a variety of popular songs.
